Our Promise to You

We take your privacy seriously. ZAP will never enable any merchant to text or email you—ever. All communication happens through in-app notifications.

When you use ZAP to pay, you become connected to the merchant, who then can send you messages via our notification system. The merchant cannot see who they are sedning a message to. You control your experience: block merchants or mark them as favorites to prioritize their messages.

Rest assured, we will NEVER share your contact information with any merchant or partner. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.

What is ZAP?

ZAP is a secure, AI-powered payments network that connects you with merchants and simplifies transactions. All communications happen within the app to protect your privacy.

How does ZAP handle my personal information?

Your privacy is our priority. ZAP will never share your contact details—like your phone number or email—with any merchant or partner. All communication occurs through our in-app notification system.

How do merchants communicate with me?

After making a payment with ZAP, merchants can send you messages through the app. You can block or favorite merchants to customize your notification feed.

How do I block a merchant?

Go to the notification you’d like to block and swipe left, confirm your request to block the merchant. They won’t be able to send you further messages.

Can I favorite a merchant?

Yes, just swipe right! Favoriting a merchant moves their notifications to the top of your feed, so you never miss their updates.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. ZAP uses advanced encryption and AI-driven security measures to ensure your transactions are safe.

Yes, merchants can see what you purchase, just as they always have. By linking your SKU-level purchase data to you, ZAP aims to enhance your shopping experience and help local merchants serve you better with personalized offers and services.
